Original Washi Tape Art Work by Staci Kaplan

I’m a Tape artist. I take Japanese tape called Washi and create all types of designs with and put them on foam board. 

I have my BFA from SUNY Purchase where I took a drawing class that had us do a drawing assignment using tape on the wall. I immediately fell in love. That’s when I started experimenting with different types of tape and surfaces it would adhere to. 

I started show casing my work in doctors offices, and galleries.
