My work is messy. It’s full of covered up mistakes, spliced perspectives and seldom turns out as originally planned. There’s a fluid permanence with oil paints that closely ties to the human experience. It’s not about control, It’s about problem solving with the cards in your hand. Each of my pieces serve as loud reminders that being alive may not always be picture perfect, but it’s always worth making a game changing move—risk, mess, and all.
