Tin Can Tiger

Recycled Tin Can Angel Christmas ornament

$20.00
No two angels match—different cans, colors, same quirky charm. Handmade: Each part is snipped from recycled tin cans with trusty scissors! Then they’re soldered together over a charcoal fire—no fancy gizmos here. Crafted in a tiny village near Antananarivo, Madagascar. The scoop: These mini tin angels (not aluminum!) come from cans salvaged by sharp-eyed trash pickers who dig through dumps for gold. Cans get squished, cleaned, and sold at market. Aerosol cans are the fave. Each angel starts with a template traced on the flattened can, then cut out with scissors and shears. Voila—tin-tastic angels!
